#3 The decision to supply weapons to the opponents of Saddam Hussein has been prompted by concern that they might otherwise be unable to topple the heavily armed Ba'ath Party regime in Basra.
What this sentence says in effect is that coalition forces possibly would not be able to topple Saddam. What a load of CRAP! They could get Saddam but they wouldn't be able to handle the Ba'ath party in Basra???
