#1 If I remember correctly, which I don't...
Just after the Nato strikes against Serbia and the secession of Kosovo, the UCK tried to set up an another armed separatist group (with a slightly different name) in a southern Serbia valley. This was put to a halt by diplomatic pressure, and ethnic albanian unrest moved to Macedonia.
The Serbs WERE the real bad guys of the Yougoslavia wars, mostly because Milosevic the gangster ignited them by using serbian nationalism, but the others actors were almost as bad, and the UCK DID use terrorist methods, and DID have criminal, jihadist and fascist (one of its original managers was an oustachi croatian general ?) sponsors.

#2 Keep in mind that Albanians known throughout Europe for being absolutely paranoid and delusional. It's the country where hundreds of thousands of concrete bunkers dot the landscape like mutant toadstools. They persist as a symbol of paranoia. The bunkers, each large enough for a man and his rifle, were built by Albania's Stalinist dictator who feared invasion from all corners, from NATO and even the Soviet Union, fortifying against an enemy that never came.

In a contest between Serbs and Albanians I think I'd root for the Serbs, at least they're smart enough not to take shit from the Muslims.
