#1 I'd believe it more if all the numbers moved a decimal point to the left. 3,000 rebels? Or, 300?

On the other hand a "top bureaucrat" was killed and that is a victory in some sense of the word.

#2 My x was Nepali. The government has been asking for help for their war on terror for some time, with no response.

It is only a matter of time before they target tourists in Khatmandu, Patan, or Bhaktpur.
