#2 It's a mistake Sammy's made before - and he's not the only one who does it. They confuse a man with a gun with a soldier, and shooting off guns with a military operation.

#8 Sounds a bit like Mussolini boasting the Italian army had eight million bayonets just before a war broke out in which aircraft and tanks were the dominant weapons. Besides, does anybody really think Saddam would issue ammo to his people? Whom do you suppose they would actually shoot at?
