#5 Bear = food. At least in those kinds of woods. Often, it is either bear, or you--and that would be a self defence. It is, I believe, inherent in design, whoever, whatever the designer is. Koolaid drinking may tend to make you think otherwise, but that does not mean it reflects the reality.

#8 The Jewish sages note that the word ratsakh applies only to illegal killing (e.g., premeditated murder or manslaughter) and was never used in the administration of justice or for killing in war. Hence the KJV translation as thou shalt not kill is too broad.

Note that it does not have any conection to animals, which were ritually slaughtered as ablution for God.

You are mixing up buddhism with judeo-chistianity, it seems. I hope for your sake that you are a vegetarian, or where do you think Kentucky Fried Chicken are coming from?
