#2 Yet another tragic escalation following the morphing of GSPC into AQ.

Mercifully, everyone I know in the Supreme Court & nearby area is well, by the sounds of it.

It could be argued that the GSPC amnesty helped to reduce conflict for a time; I just hope that it is not becoming a permanent obstacle in removing the AQ presence.

The ironies are endless: the government continues to press for Arabisation/De-Frenchification, whilst Zawahiri announces a "blessed union" to attack French / US interests and then proceeds to attack Algerian ones.

#3 AAA shouldn't Algerians understand the concept of hudna? All the amnesty did is allow the Orcs time to rest, recruit and resupply.
