It seems all poor wazdan knows only as much about human nature as is revealed in the Koran, the Sunna and Hadith. The thing is, my dear wazdan, people don't like to have their hospitality abused by cowards pushing their women and children into flying bullets. Then those people, Afghan Pakhtons, do not shelter your Pakistani Pakhton jihadis any more; rather, they call in the Afghan soldiers, and the British soldiers, and the American helicopters, to kill the Pakistanis very, very quickly. Before the Pakistanis can even steal salt and bread and tea from the plates of the children.

Faith in Islam does not make up for being stupid, dear wazdan. Nor does Allah seem to approve of cowardly Pakistani Pakhton jihadis who force women and children to be martyred in their place. Nor will your rusted nuclear bombs protect you when the American Special Forces follow the blood trail of your wounded running home to their fathers' houses.

Sakrov, I've dealt with your tribal mindset before. And friends of mine have dealt with your tribe directly.

At some point you are going to have to move into the modern world or find yourself exterminated. It was okay to allow you to wallow in your poverty-sticken pride when you did not bother us.

Then came the Taliban and 9/11 -- you bothered us.

We're not going away. Your women will watch the Internet. Your young men will realize they can have true pride in serving the Afghan nation, not just the ratty Pashtun tribe.

And your pious will realize that you have been living an ignorant, tattered and dishonorable version of Islam for a long time.
