#2 The only reason retail stores spend any money on security is to give law abiding paying customers the false sense of security to shop again. The paid security does nothing except call 911 and then get ignored by the local tax paying security known as LEOs, district attorneys, Bureaucrats, politicians….

This mayor is not good at science--she's the master of the non sequitur; for her, cause and effect time sequence are scrambled.

#7 Guy who said he has family N. IL says this is rampant, people getting shot for not cooperating, only the stuff unable to be buried kinda, sort of, makes a mention in the news.

Absolute hearsay, but...seems to be a lot of tertiary evidence.

#8 I hear the same 'hearsay' as direct experience by my relatives who live downtown there, swksvolFF.

They all carry, even though illegal to do so in the city (unless you have 'special permission'.

They figure that the punishment for doing so is far and away offset by the advantages.
