#3 I think the idea is to uproot the olive trees when nobody's looking, then point the finger and holler that the settlers done it.

#4 IIRC, the Koran expressly forbids the destruction of fruit trees.

Speaking of which, digging up even *one* tree is hard work. Can you imagine what *40* trees must feel like?
