And block islamic fundies heading north into Russia. Wheels within wheels, they make money on selling arms to Iraq who will use them against the Iranians who Russia also supplies. And when Iran goes down, it removes a threat to Russia without their having to attack themselves. Of course, they might be tempted to grab a piece off the corpse.

#3 Nice thing to dream about, anyway. What we most need from Russia is a Hippocratic intervention: first do no harm. Stop f**king around with Iran. Rein in the FSB and the commie-fascist morons like Zhirinovsky who are doing deals with arab fascists and jihadists.
