#13 The answer the team came up with was "resonance", a phenomenon that causes an object to vibrate when energy of a certain frequency is applied.

Evidently the research was done in me forth grade compoooter lab.

#14 It seems to me that you can overcome the problem of "free range energy", yet get much of its benefits.

Instead of an open broadcast of energy, have something like a battery that can be rapidly charged when put into a device the size of a microwave oven.

It can receive an intense field of energy, yet it would be shielded from anything outside the box.

If you need to recharge your laptop "battery", though it would probably be more like a capicitor, you just pop it into the box for a minute, to get an hour's worth of energy.

The charged item itself would need a lot of insulation, as invariably it would get very, very hot.
