#1 He DOES own the place.

He is the ONLY member of congress that isnt beholden to any political party, only to himself and his voters.

And with the balance of Congress in his hands, it makes him the pivot.

Joe Lieberman, the REAL winner of the 2006 elections.

I may disagree with him on a lot of things, but I admire his guts in standing up for his own bleiefs and taking on the loons in his former party.
