#2 The 'insanity' plea predates modern psychology. The jury made the call, not 'experts'.

BTW, when a dog kills a child, be assured whether the dog is smart or dumb, the death penalty is quick and swift. Be adjudge by the crime, not some 'adjectival' descriptive.

#3 I am seriously doubting the intellectual capacity of the prosecutors themselves. If you put a little effort in it, how hard can it be convincing a judge that the El Bobo cleverly stalked, killed and robbed multiple people ?

'Too stupid to be executed ?' Seriously ? That's a viable defence ? The judges ought to be removed for being too stupid to sit in those offices if they allow such pleas.
