#2 Willard did quite well last evening, considering he had both a predictably contemptuous, interrupting president and an openly hostile moderator to contend with.

Personally, I was delighted the moderator 'Big Gulp' didn't select questions from too many old white men in the crowd. [sarc off]

#3 You're just saying that because whenever Barry went over-time, they would change camera angles off the stop clock. Money shot zoom-ins were a nice touch. Still could tell how much taller Romney is, even though Barry was tutored in camera angle tricks a la Tom Cruise.

Really, Romney and the Lyins' Den. Fought his way out of Hutt Castle just fine.

#4 When you have nothing to say, use as much time as possible to say it. When they ask about guns, talk about education. Then when your opponent tries to speak, interrupt him. You don't have to be as obnoxious as Smirkin' Joe Biden but do not hesitate to butt in even if it's not your turn to speak. You DO NOT want those undecided voters to hear what Mitt has to say. Oh, call him a liar too and don't worry about the facts. Nobody's checking.

Yes, it does matter because they're denying the Republican the opportunity to speak. They can't hide it any longer. This is their strategy. There is nothing they can say to defend their record because their record sucks. That leaves them with two options: paint the Republicans as right-wing whackos and deny them the opportunity to speak.

This is not democracy. This is Bolshevism.

#8 It is the only format where a voter gets to witness the whole account; not filtered or clipped or commercial or soundbite.

And its how bad teams beat good teams in football, deny them possession, so the good team has to prove its good by scoring with the limited possessions available. Its why a question about jobs ends up with the killing of bin laden.

Barry did that in '08 as well. Russia was kicking Georgia and the candidates were asked about it, and Barry ended up someplace bizarre, like education.

Biden's refusal to allow a real debate isn't an accident. The left has no intention to allow policy discussion or debate by the citizenry. They have embraced the heckler's veto on a key activity of a constitutional republic.

And they have done so because they do not share the core values or presuppositions on which this country was built.

No, Glenmore. But we only have one when someone decides to write one. Any Rantburger can do it though, not just one of the moderators. Just submit it by Friday evening so a blurb can be put up for Saturday -- and you write the blurb yourself as well.

#13 Bizarre Coincidence II:

a. Moderator selects the question; "Mr. President, when did you know the event in Benghazi was a terrorist act?"

b. Champ: "I said it was a terrorist act in the Rose Garden". (Slipping back to his chair and out of the blast radius)

c. An obviously gobsmacked Willard attempts to confirm Champ's statement, gets no confirming, but rather a "proceed governor" statement from the Champ.

d. Champ: Comfortably seated and smiling shouts out "get the transcript". And then again, "get the transcript".

d. Willard attempts to digest and process the revelation only to have the moderator, actually holding a copy of the "transcript" confirm the Rose Garden statement with stuttering caveats.

e. Champ: "Thank you Candy, would you say that again please".

f. Applause from the crowd to include FLOTUS.

g. The following day the moderator walks back her confirmation of the Rose Garden terrorixsm statement.

Tell me what you see taking place here.
