#3 in case you are wondering, the production of natural gas in the US has remained stable in 2021 and the US produces essentially all the natural gas it needs

regarding price, except for a spike in Feb 2021, due to the Arctic weather in the south, the US price of natural gas has also remained stable

this is not the case with oil where the price is up about 40% in 2021; coal prices are also up in the US but I can't get a recent precise figure

I say we give those natural gas supplies a good squirt of WD-40. And if that don't work, than it's time for some acetone and transmission fluid.

Having spent the last few centuries climbing out of poverty, seems a shame to piss it away for a silly idea.
