Inconceivable and unacceptable. Yet this is exactly what happened. And by "worked for the police", you mean worked in an intelligence section.

"Your colleagues fell under the blows of a distorted, deadly Islam which we must eradicate."

Ah, this will be an unrelenting fight against Islamophobia. That I can believe.
