#6 Just looked at various websites discussing SpinLaunch

The SpinLaunch plan is to achieve a high suborbital position with the slingshot and then smaller rockets on the projectiles would carry them to orbit

#10 Want height and speed before firing the rocket engines? Use an airplane mothership. Pegasus

That way you won't have to design the rocket and payload like an artillery shell.
