#2 Will lead to starting a war with Russia for sure. Georgia already started shit with them and got stomped by the Bear. But if Georgia is in NATO, then it's a tripwire for a big shooting war, including a land invasion from NATO territory in Estonia going for Moscow.

And we're deliberating provoking ... Russia? In the Caucasus?

What possible national interest do we have in that region that is squarely in Russia's sphere of interest?

Who's pushing this? To what end?

#9 I'm curious as to what exactly they have to do to prepare. Fire a third of their armed forces and halve training for the remainder? Maybe they need to pre-bounce the odd check, oh and send a delegation to Brussels.

#10 I was hoping for hyper-tech aliens to beam Georgia and Armenia into the Southern Indian ocean as large tropical islands. Oh and a bit of Russia so the Caspian could connect to the Black Sea. A downward connection from the Caspian to the Persian Gulf would be good too as it would remove the choke point of the Bosporus .... HEH!
