#1 No mention that Halliburton won its position in the "express procurement" program during the Clinton administration? Why not?

#2 I don't see a mention that the US appears to be the one ponying up the 80 billion to rebuild Iraq and watching the others stair at the ceiling as we ask for contributions.

#3 I would like to see some local countries like Kuwait, Turkey and/or Jordan bid on and get awarded contracts. It is critical that Iraq has some type of relations with its neighbors. Jordan can use the cash flow especially.

To calculate a net cost we would need to know what were we shelling out for Operations Northern and Southern Watch. I don't think that keeping 150,000 American troops on the border of Iraq was for free either. Maybe the French were kicking in as they seemed pretty keen on us staying in that position for an extended period.
