#4 ^ Yep, that's been going on for some years now. Of course, this comes from my backyard in CA. The insanity here is beyond intolerable. Most of our clan has already moved out. Mrs. Mundi n I are narrowing our window of escape. Tough choices when the grandkids are involved.

#5 We bailed at the end of 2018, but still have lots of friends and family in Sacramento and Orange County areas. They are all either trapped by careers or kids still in school, but all are heartsick about the accelerating decline in the quality of life. Even the woke, lefty nutters my wife shares equestrian connections with are looking to bail.

I look at the peaks of the California Sierra's behind Tahoe as I write this from the Carson Valley and gloat about having scotched insanity by leaving and finding the traditional American dream again.
