#3 A fascinating story, but strangely unsourced. There's no mention of the city she lived in, or even the country. (Yeah, I know it's an Australian site, but they only have about three or four cities there, so they would've said which one it was, if it was in Australia.)

Natasha Timarovic, 27, suffered burns to her bottom after lightning struck her in the mouth and passed through her body. She was in the bathroom of her home in Zadar, Croatia, when it was hit.

She said, "I had just put my mouth under the tap to rinse away the toothpaste when the lightning must have struck the building.

A doctor at the hospital where she was treated for burns said: "She was wearing rubber bathroom shoes at the time, and so, instead of earthing through her feet, the electricity shot out of her backside."
