#3 A map for peace in the middle east in three steps: (1) Get the west off of oil dependence to starve the region of money and support for Wahhabism (2) Do not visibly support any side in the conflict but continue to favor democracies over dictatorships with our support (3) Support a mosque takeover by Sufist brands of Islam and thought (probably led by Turks).

#7 They are probably FURTHER from a peace deal than at any time in my life that I can remember, and I'm darn near 40.
Israel is just laying down on them now, they can wait 2 years and see if the next bunch has any more sense.
