#2 Kris “Tonto” Paronto former Marine Sgt. John “Tig” Tiegen, and "Oz" Geist defied the Station Chief's instructions and went back to the annex to attempt a rescue and recovery. Their heroic actions put them on the Agency and Foggy Bottom 'blame line' for all that went wrong.

Without their actions, bodies would have probably never been found and the truth never told.
