#3 No.

a) There hasn't been a "Las Cruces" (yet).

b) It's possible Mr. de la Rosa was more than an innocent casualty.

c) It's not 'Mexico' we should be at war with, at least until there's proof that the government itself is involved, not just corrupt officials.

#5 "Las Cruces"

While Las Cruces was a site of a 'massacre', it was Spanish settlers traveling north and attacked by the natives. Much like the modern tradition of posting crosses at crash sites, the memorial placed at the site gave the name to the present city.

However, I suspect you are referring to Columbus New Mexico, where elements competing for power in the Mexican Revolution, the corrupt government in Mexico City and the various outlaw groups that morphed into revolutionary fronts, crossed into the US and burned and looted. Not that those factors can be seen in play today. Nope, not here. We're too modern and sophisticated to be fooled by common human behavior patterns.

Oh! You mean Los Angeles!
