The only thing is he went on to many other things over the course of many, many years. He may not have originated vindictive pettiness, but he sure added some chapters uniquely his own.

There's even some debate about that.

Not that I think I would done any better in those circumstances.

Then again, I wouldn't have tried to launch a political career out of it and then betrayed my constituents over and over again, while claiming that my experiences in the "Nam exempted me from all criticism.

#10 I recall stories of McCain 'dating' the wives of fellow pilots while they were deployed. Probably not true but if so i hope he's uncomfortably hot right now.
