#2 Back in the 50s and 60s, the accusation was someone was 'passing'. That's when people wanted to be 'white' to improve their social economic standing. Today, its the reverse. That has got to tell you that you are not oppressed, but privileged. These people are seeking to improve their social and economic standing.
