#1 There is a town that needs a new mayor, city council, and chief of police. The church should go ahead and burn the damned Qurans and tell the city to go F**K itself -- protected First Amendment political speech.

#3 Nothing mentioned about the burning of Qurans in the privacy of one's own home. It is quite likely this practice will continue as it has for many years.

#4 Why would I burn a cur-an perfectly good packet of toilet paper? So handy on camping trips...

#5 I guys, I hate to do this, but I need to blow a myth here. Most printed paper is not good TP. It lacks any absorbency and generally just makes a bigger mess. The same goes for most leaves. Matter a fact, handkerchiefs, shirt sleeves, and sock tops work much better. That or just learn to pack a roll of TP when ever you aren't near civilization. As tinder for starting fires now, well, that's another story. Seems this particular book every one talks about does that plenty on its own through EID's, endorsing terrorist bombs, or commanding the persecution or other people.

#6 Now wait a minute, miscellaneous. I've been known to use leaves. I've been known to use the sports page. While there can be no doubt that TP was designed specifically for that purpose and that it is preferable, I'm quite certain that pages torn from the Quran can indeed be used to wipe your ass if nothing else is available or if your purpose is to show contempt for the nonsense that is written in the Quran. Just be sure that you dispose of them properly since flushing them down the toilet probably won't work very well. Maybe that would be the time to burn them.

#7 So if some muslim group decided to pi$$ on our flag or burn the Bible in Gainesville, Florida would officials deny them a parade permit or a burn permit? Would city officials invoke the muslims First Amendment rights? Just asking.

#8 John, do you even have to ask? Shoot, Bush tried to pass a law that forbid flag burning, and the Supreme Court shot it down (if I remember correctly).

#9  Nothing mentioned about the burning of Qurans in the privacy of one's own home.

Back in the day, in response to some heavy-handed patent nonsense, the Interwebs held a Burn Your GIFs Day where the offending files were ceremoniously deleted. Perhaps we could hold a similar event where .pdf copies of the Koran could be downloaded and then deleted to the cheering approval of infidel bystanders. Afterwards, beer and barbeque.

#10 Steve S:

Afterwards, beer and barbeque.

Actually, being Baptists - not much beer, but as GOOD INFIDELS, the BBQ will have plenty of pork - Ribs, chops, etc... Just Ice Tea and Lemonade is the drink of choice... ;)
