#6 Anyone else remember how, back in the old millennium, lesb1ans and queer women were easily distinguishable? Lesb1ans talked about a variety of stuff, mostly pronouncing the word "political" in normal fashion. Women who called themselves "queer" would start elongating their "politicals" egregiously, syllable by syllable, almost like Jill Abramson loaded, really lolling those "Ls," especially the last one. They'd get more and more blasé and lethargic the longer they'd been saying "queer" and "political," till eventulaly they only perked up around comrades with the correct haircut and ~~diction~~ lingo. Or if a rapmobile passed by: instant workin' and jerkin'! Or someone blasting that subcontinental house stuff. .. lordy, the keffiyehs would be snappin' for that. Simpler times.
