#3 Carter Page was not charged with a single crime (never mind convicted or indicted), so the illegality of the FISA warrants for him are not an issue.

For other people, e.g., Gen Flynn, the situation is more complicated. Flynn might get off from the 'lying to the FBI' charge but his illegal lobbying is straightforward stuff. Flynn wrote an op ed calling Gulan a terrorist and advocating returning him to Turkey. At the time Flynn was being paid by Turkey but hadn't registered as a lobbyist.
