#1 Looks like lots of Russians are deciding to leave Ukraine before the 2 Armies have a go at it down there.
For you who are not familiar with Ukraine, once Kherson is occupied by Ukrainian forces again, the jig is up for Russian control of Crimea and Putin understands this.
The only fresh water going to Crimea comes from above Crimea in Kherson Province and the Dnieper River. Russia will not be capable of getting potable water to Crimea due to the war, their ships will easily be sunk now that Russia decided to start this war.
General Hertling( retired) believes Ukraine has maneuvered a large( possibly 15K soldiers) section of Russian troops into a Falaise Gap type surrender deal, they cannot supply them now that most bridges are down. We'll see:

They say that war is how Americans learn geography, and I've certainly learned more about the geography of Ukraine in the last six months than I ever thought I'd know.
