Why just terrorists? There are OTHERS that are doing just about the same damn things; fake driver's licenses, fake birth certificates, stolen SS numbers, etc. Kick THEIR asses out also.

#3 All this assumes that the Terrorists enter the country LEGALLY. Illegal Aliens who simply walk across from Mexico or Canada do not have to worry about background checks - no Visa Security systmes, nothing. Once here they get the protection of 'Sanctuary Cities' and other things...

Even if they are arrested here its 'Catch and Release' time.

The word 'Stupid' comes to mind.

#4 Good catch, CF. I seem to remember that most (if not all) of the 9/11 goons crossed from Canada, who basically allows anyone in (much like we did pre-9/11). That is a HUGE unguarded territory. Of course, crossing from Mexico is easy too. Just imagine how many we don't know/don't have records about who are crossing on foot.

#5 The 9/11 terrorists received visas, the Saudis courtesy of the Visa Express program, and flew into the US. The botched 1999 LA airport bomber was a resident of canada.

#6 your right ed - but Visa Express was practically the same as what we now have on our borders. Just waving them through without any checks whatsoever.

In fact, as I recall they wanted to contiune Visa Express even after 9/11 - only a public outcry halted it. The idiot who came up with the Visa Express idea even received a big fat bonus for helping to enable the murder of 3,000+ americans.....
