#7 Russian ploy to expose and destroy Ukrainians. I understand two months ago the Russians were aware of such an attack. Several areas were offered as alternative attack locations. Ukraine would present the last of their best. They expected Russian depletion of other front line positions. That never happened as Russians have plenty in reserve back up. Two major pathways to Power plant now totally secure. Progress has stopped. Things have grown quieter. Initiative siding to Russia. Aggressive attrition on full display. Ukrainian PR event.
