#1 official rate is about 43k Rial = one dollar

back in 2010 the official rate was about 1000 Rial per dollar

#3 The new rate will be 12 "new rials" to $1, but inflation is still 50% a year(or a doubling every ~ 16 months or so). They're screwed.
