#2 As of 0933 EDT this morning, the water level at 3 Gorges dam was 161.43 meters with flow at 38,600 Cu meters/sec. other dams upstream have significantly higher flows.

#7 First, Alaska Paul is correct. The numbers I gave in the yellow highlight are for Cuntan, which is a shipping port on the northwest side of Chongqing. Not for Three Gorges. Call off the panic!

If you look at the yellow highlight, there is a link under the words “current level”, it will take you to a Chinese hydrology site. The Three Gorges data is line twelve. The Chinese characters begin with three horizontal bars, their symbol for “three”.
