#3 Around here, the local power utility will notify the police if a residential building's power usage goes up dramatically (LOTS of Grow Lights).

Although the newer LED lighting doesn't use as much electricity, the 'Home Growers' swear that metal-halide lamps do a better job (or so I've been told).
