It sounds more like the Swiss don't have a full grenade load when they start messing around with other nation's defense needs. I am sure that the British will find other nationalities of suppliers that won't make sidelines foreign policy decisions for their clients.

#3 If the Brits or US have signed contracts with companies that can (legally) refuse shipments for politcal reasons, that is their own fault. They should have written a clause into the contract to prevent it, if possible. If the Swiss want to violate contract law on a whim, they should (and will) pay the consequences. I think I'll be shorting Swatch stock this week... ;)
