#2 I'm reminded of something the IRA (spit) said about Margaret Thatcher after their attempted assassination in 1984:- "We only have to get lucky once, you have to be lucky all the time".

Nasrallah is going to die, probably violently, probably soon and probably via a US made bunker-buster released by an Israeli Air Force pilot (please let it be a woman! ;) but he is going to die, and I have an idea that the subsequent funeral will also be hit by ordnance as well.

The Israelis are playing for all the marbles this time...

#3 Yes, xbalanke, I thought that was a dumb (or desperate) thing to say too.

Dumb because it puts 'invincible' Islam in a position where it will be shown to be defeated, because Hizbullah is going to be toast.

Desperate? - perhaps he knows he's on the ropes and is calling out to anyone who will listen, but the Soddies, Jordanians and Egyptians aren't interested, neither is that great brotherhood the Arab League interested.

#13 I still like my buddy's idea of showing up in Tehran (sneak in during the muzzies' Friday Prayers) and shout from the Presidential Palace "I'm the 12 Imam", and wear a T-shirt saying the same ("I'm the 12th Imam") right before Ahmadinejad comes out.
