#1 While I sympathize with the mayor of Hazleton, I can't see this surviving a court challenge. IIRC, several courts have struck down similar measures on the grounds that immigration is supposed to be a federal issue. Of course, if the federal government is unable or unwilling to enforce the immigration laws ...
