#1 Mr. Keating-Quisling is also a fool.

#2 Sarkozy just called, all upset. He said it was *his* turn to be Hitler for fifteen minutes but he was out jogging when the phone rang and it went to voice mail.

#3 As far as I know, Keating is not the best-liked bloke in Australia.

#4 Now that Saddam has been hanged, I'm at the point where I withhold respect for a world leader until he or she is compared to Hitler at least once. I'm sure this is not a first for Howard though. He's my kind of guy.

#5 It's great that real leaders now have the balls to condemn multiculturalism as the failed experiment that it is. Of course, the people behind the idea get really, REALLY mad when someone tells them their idea isn't that great.

Typical British understatement.

#7 Keating is roundly detested by many on both sides of politics. OTOH he gets respect in some quarters. I have a grudging respect for the man for his economic reforms, even though nothing would make me vote from him or his party. He also has a reputation for being foul-mouthed and a poor loser.

#9 I'd be very insulted if someone called me a socialist.

#10 I believe Keating is best-known for his liberal use of the word scumbag (not part of Aussie lingo at the time). Australians I spoke to at the time had no idea what the word meant. (This was before the internet became popular).

#11 “Shades there of John Howard’s discomfort with Australia’s multicultural community and a disgust of the Islamic community.”

Hitler admired arabs and was allied with "the islamic community". Hence the celebration of arabs at Aryan Nations websites and their ilk. Typical of a leftard to exactly invert the truth.

#12 The "lizard of Oz," lol! Boy, I've forgotten how fine British humor truly is!

And, I'm with JAB on this one. Being called Hitler nowadays is a sign of respect in my book, the way it's tossed around.

#13 Typical of a leftard to exactly invert the truth.

I've begun to think that much of the Liberal Left has gone through the looking glass and no longer regards any of this as an inversion. With their moral compasses demagnetized, there is no sense of polar reversal and all sense of irony is utterly lost as they flail about in a futile attempt to make reality fit their own arbitrary "facts".

#14 11 years of sour grapes do fester...

Or...

It could be one of two forms of dementia...

Alzheimer's, or "Mad Cow" Disease

Is their anyway I can get in on this? I mean without being tied to Sarkozy? Hitler's the guy with the cool B&W stuff right?
