#1 What is it with Muslims and markets? They're always blowing the places up. Did some merchant put his thumb on the scale when he sold Mohammed a pound of dates way back when, and now they have a religious vendetta going on?

#2 Mogadishu is too primitive to have airliners, subways, skyscrapers or night clubs. So open air markets will have to do.

If I may suggest an alternative for islamic bombers. The local mosque has the largest, most densely packed crowds. Explode yourselves over there and maximize the bodycount per explosive yield. Allah gives extra virgins for that.
