#2 Across Europe, in Russia, Australia, New Zealand... The weapons trafficking routes are very long established. Lots and lots of AKs flowed through over the years.

Who knows? The last really big fight was National Socialists vs International Socialists. The next one might be nationalists vs Moslem colonists.

#3 A new BBC article reports the shooter has been charged with murder, remanded to psychiatric evaluation, and is known to the psychiatric services — nuts, not jihadi.

Deutsche Welle reports:

Police believe videos of the suspect that circulated on social media on Sunday evening are authentic.

In them, the young man was seen posing with weapons, talking about psychiatric medication "that does not work," and mimicking suicide gestures.

I think it’s safe to move this story to Page 3: Non-WoT.

Separately, The Times of Israel adds:

A suspect carrying a rifle and knife was quickly arrested, and Copenhagen chief police inspector Søren Thomassen says the 22-year-old Danish man also had access to another gun.

He says the firearms were obtained illegally and the suspect was known to mental health services but gave no further details on either.

#7 I don't know about Denmark, but in Germany, if you want a gun you will get one.

People who get shot won't be interested in the fact that the gun was illegal.

If I could rewrite the German Basic Law, a Second Amendment would certainly be included.
