Having said that, the temptation must have been extremely great for that cop to take the boy over his knee and spank his little behind. It might have done the boy some good but it would have been the end of the cop's career.

#14 The Great Society, 4th generation, proof of the cancer that Lyndon Johnson and the demokrats gave America. Think about how much taxpayer money has been spent producing these multi-generational parasites and how impossible it will be to deprogram them.

At its core the whole pattern of the endless "programs" has been a smug paternalistic belief in lower expectations and consequent need for special help to compete. Objective proof that doesn't work, decade after decade, has been ignored and buried because from the onset, it has been a political motive, not a benevolent one. (look up the LBJ comment about 100 years for effect). The virtuous enabler has been the storyline for the leftist idiots who need to feel less guilty.

If you don't reward colorblind, meritocracy, and subsidize indolence, over time you get this.
