#6 The Scandinavians are in ostrich-like denial. We had a Norwegian exchange student last year and he couldn't believe what I was telling him about what was happening in Sweden and would soon happen in Norway. So I pounded him with internet posts for a few weeks. When he left last week my wife asked him how he had changed the most from his year here. He said that he needed to look at more points of view before deciding about things. Things will go too far and Viking vengeance will reemerge. Same for the Britons, Angles and Saxons.
