#6 Burning the Koran by the proverbial drain, was he? The ususal frame-up.

Some other Imam wants to take over the mosque and Hafiz, poor boy, is just not "pious" (read: violent) enough for that mosque. Charges of burning a Koran demonstrate his lack of "islamic value" and he's seen as a traitor.

It's more fun than bumping him off themselves - watch the crowd they aroused rip him to pieces. Islam, the religion of pieces.
