#1 Why is anybody still there? The active fighting is down to a half a dozen combat deaths a week at the very most. What fighting is still happening is in Syria and has mostly devolved into bitter village hopping by a much larger force (acting on the behalf of Iran) that will inevitably win if they don't act like total idiots. Doesn't make sense that the West still has soldiers there. Spies and diplomats yes, but not soldiers.

Practice:
Processing/Interpreting shared field Intel.
Mission planning and force coordination.
Snatch/Kill team training, engagement, debrief.
Comms with transport and rear echelon.

Better integration with allied forces leads to smaller specialty teams.

#3 Ardern also announced New Zealand will reduce the number of defense force personnel it has posted in Afghanistan from 13 to 11.

This interesting tidbit suggests that two people in AFG are/were C2 associated with the team(s) in IRQ.

Remember what happened the last time we pulled out? Do you trust that the Arab Iraqi forces will not panic and completely desert their posts again when there are no Westerners there to stiffen their spines?
