#1 Considering the ammo used up on the Fatah al-Islam nutjobs in the Beirut camp, this could be taken as scrounging from the enemy. Hisb'allah will be fighting against the Lebanese state soon enough, and any extra firepower that the Lebanese can gather up now will come in handy.

#2 I'm kind of impressed there was a Lebanese Army checkpoint in Baalbek. Isn't that the heart of Hezbollah's Bekaa Valley territory? The part of Hezbollahland which *wasn't* overrun by the Israelis in July or bombed flat in Beiruit?
