#4 my daughter's 24 now and her friends still talk about when one of her high school dates came to the door to pick her up. I was cleaning my 12 GA Winchester Defender (with pistol grip) on the table, and held up the 18" barrel and asked him "does that look clean to you?". She got home on time

#6 Iwould invite the young pup in and chat with him. Making sure to mention my experiences as a Ranger and my LRP skills, not to mention my hand to hand combat training, knife work and marksmanship with all of the NATO weapons and most of the Warsaw pact weaponry....heh...heh...heh

They would all ask my daughter about those stories and say "yep they are all true and he played college football and has a mean streak a mile wide".....

Not too many problems with young men dating my daughter.....
