#1 There is little incentive for the Kurds to try to keep some coalition of Sunni, Shite, and Kurds together in some sort of government in Iraq. The Baathists (secular Sunni) did not treat them well under Saddam. He gassed them with WMDs.

#3 I second LG. The Kurds need artillery and ground attack air support. If you want them to attack better make that self propelled artillery.
