#1 I don't see why they are doing this investigation at all. Jefferson is a Democrat, and thus above all laws. Besides, it was all just a misunderstanding. I mean, I keep wads of cash in my freezer all the time. Also, he was working in his official capacity as a Congressman at the time, and so the FBI is not allowed to investigate him anyway.
