Wastage is burning billions in islamic shitholes over dick measuring and hubris. Also, your taxpayers are not obligated to aid people in the third world who don't care for them anyway. A more justifiable use of their money is to strategically strengthen what allies you do have, to supplement their forces against your enemies and build unassailable coalitions.

This is the duty of a responsible State, not charity or posturing using their citizens' money.
